Welcome to VFR911.com, the VF/VFR Roadside Assistance Network!
I created this site to serve as a resource for stranded VFR owners anywhere in the world. With luck, it will make roadside troubles much more bearable.
In a nutshell, I hope to provide a database of folks willing to help VF/VFR owners stuck on the side of the road. The database can be searched by the following methods:
- Cell: If your cell phone's browser supports simple HTML, this site should degrade very cleanly and be easily readable. If your phone is an older model, or doesn't support simple HTML, pointing your cell browser to go.vfr911.com will enable you to use a WML version of the site. NOTE: The WML/WAP version of the site is still being built, but should be live shortly. I thank you for your patience.
- Web: Search from the comfort of your desk. This method is most useful for planning ahead for trips or if you don't have a web-enabled cell phone.
- Print: All results pages will print in an easy-to-use book format. Just search along your planned route, print, stuff the results in your tankbag, and go.
That's the quick version, you're of course welcome to read more information about the site before signing up.
